What Space Invaders Would Look Like In Real Life

This is a CGI model of what a Space Invader from the classic video game might look like in real life. It was created by digital artist Tom Carruthers, and looks super icky.

If they’re just flying alien head things then what are they shooting at us? Spit, or even worse?! YUCK! Head behind the barrier, or prepare to wipe alien blech off your screen!

Umm.. how exactly do ‘his’(?) horns move up and down.. as they do when moving ?
It must also have the most amazing mandibles.. to be able to dislocate the jaw 180 degrees.
When I used to kill em.. I thought they were the arms and legs!
Looks like I was killing the wrong sort of Invaders.. oh my gosh.. what have I been shooting all these years???

So is this the latest meme, taking cartoon characters and making “real life” models of them?
