Emiiiiil, I believe the pouches are in their cheeks where they hold food, not a pouch for holding their young like a marsupial. Don't worry, the Burmese pythons loose in Florida will take care of them.

They just need some Giant cats to take care of the problem, if it poses a problem in the first place?
So this is a rat from Gambia"africa" who has a pouch?
My understanding was that only australian critters had pouches? i guess i have some studying to do.
Anyways i dont think this story qualifies as neat, but i could be wrong on that too.
