Big Storage in Little Spaces

Remember our post about living in a tiny home? Well, compared to some living spaces in Japan, American tiny homes are like mansions. To prove the point that they can decorate even the smallest living spaces, IKEA put their furnitures to work in the "gap" spaces of a busy Harajuku street in Tokyo, Japan:

The project, called ‘IKEA SUKIMA GALLERY’ (Gap Gallery), showcases the art of storage, and how little space the brand's furniture takes up—with bookcases, chairs, tables and other pieces of its furniture filling the books and crannies of buildings, transforming the narrow spaces into places that can be effectively put to use.
