10 Cool Trivia Facts About The Hobbit

We already presented you with some fun trivia about the book-version of The Hobbit, but if you're interested in learning more about the behind the scenes actions involved with making the film version, io9 has you covered with all kinds of neat facts. For example:

Smaug Stole All Of New Zealand's Gold (Paint)

I was concerned about the length going in, but the film didn't feel like a three hour epic. Jackson and his editors really did their job well. I just wish we didn't have to wait a year for part two.

Yeah we saw the movie this past weekend. Not sure what the fuss was about the framerate. It looked like a regular movie to me. *shrugs*
Anywho, I enjoyed it. A bit longwinded in parts but meh.
