It's Time to Fire Steven Moffat

Count me as one of the many people totally over Steven Moffat's rule of Doctor Who. If you still aren't convinced that his story lines have become totally ridiculous, then check out the random Doctor Who plot generator at Us vs Th3m. Here's one I just created:

A flashback sequence introduces us to the Paradise Faction homeworld, but the Sonic Screwdriver picks up a gravity anomaly. The Doctor, Clara, and Clara’s two charges have tough choices to make about the Macra. The Doctor’s tears save the day. Katy from CBeebies features in a flashback sequence.

Sounds like a legit Moffat episode to me.

Which is, of course, totally different than "Run you clever boy."

As opposed to a Russell T Davies episode that always starts with "Run!" and ends with "Because I'm clever!"

Moffat needs to go. While Matt Smith has largely grown on me (and now he's going, oh well, I didn't like him THAT much), Moffat has sucked the shows quirky spirit, charm and childlike wonder away. It may be less silly in some respects, but the plots are trying to be more serious than the writing can often support and a lot of the resolutions in the episodes just don't feel as inventive or interesting.

I am crushingly tired of Moffat.
He no longer seems to respect the source material.
It is only a kids Telly-programme, but Moffat is largely screwing it up.
