You’ve seen guys with rat tail hairdos. It’s a way of saying “Look how long my hair would have been if I didn’t cut it.” I met a guy once with hair almost to his waist, plus a braided rat tail he could sit on just to show how long it would have grown.
Philadelphia artist Andrew Jeffrey Wright has taken the concept of the rat tail hairstyle to its logical, if absurd, conclusion, by shaping it into the image of a rat. See pictures of the various way he styles it at Buzzfeed.
