Cool Behind The Scenes Photos From Back To The Future

Posted by Zeon Santos in Entertainment, Film, Pictures, Science Fiction on May 15, 2012 at 12:05 am

If you know and love the Back To The Future trilogy, but you’ve never understood how they filmed the hoverboard scene, or made a Delorean fly through the air, then this set of behind the scene photos might help.

Some are candid portraits, others show the crew hard at work getting the shot to look just right, and they all show the cast and crew having a genuinely good time filming the iconic trilogy.

And with 65 pics in this collection, it’s nerd-stalgia at its finest!

If you’ve seen the films, then you might not know it, but when the cameras weren’t rolling, Godzilla was actually quite a well-mannered gentleman adored by the women on the set. Just look at this lucky lady being accompanied by this studly ladies man

The Oft Overlooked Art of Sound Design

Posted by Queuebot in Film on January 26, 2009 at 8:22 pm

The crack of Indy’s whip, the bleep-blips of R2-D2, and the asthmatic breathing of Darth Vader. These unique and memorable sound effects are all products of an often overlooked art form – the art of sound design. A Sound Designer’s duties include creating, editing and applying sound effects and all non-compositional elements of a film, video game, theater performance, recording or television program in what amounts to a very daunting job.
